Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food and beverage service, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality experiences. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a vibrant team within a busy restaurant environment, ensuring smooth service delivery and maintaining high food safety standards.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee food production, preparation, and presentation to meet quality standards.
Manage customer service interactions, resolving any issues promptly to guarantee guest satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the restaurant.
Assist in training new staff members and provide ongoing coaching to develop team skills.
Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth workflow.
Organise shift schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and oversee staff performance during service hours.
Maintain a clean, organised work environment adhering to health and safety policies.
Support the management team in implementing promotional activities and special events.

Experience

Proven management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Extensive background in food production, cooking, serving, and food preparation.
Demonstrable supervising experience with a focus on team leadership and staff development.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational skills.
Knowledge of hospitality standards, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Bowness-on-Windermere, Cumbria: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
