Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Weekend Cocktail Bar Tender to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mixology skills and deliver exceptional customer service in a lively bar environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of cocktails, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.

Duties

Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails (primarily Margarita varieties!) and beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of drinks
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible service
Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and ingredients
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system effectively
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling of beverages is advantageous
Strong serving skills with an emphasis on hospitality excellence
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
Good time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour
Familiarity with standard cocktail recipes and mixology techniques is a plus but not mandatory

This position offers an engaging work environment where your enthusiasm for hospitality can shine. We value organised, personable individuals committed to delivering memorable experiences for our guests.

We will value input into our cocktail menu, service will also be included which can raise the average hourly pay to approximately £14.50-15 per hour. There is opportunity to become full time once the Summer is over.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
