Multi-Skilled Timber Frame Installer

Location: Nationwide (based from our Northamptonshire yard with travel throughout the UK)

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per year (depending on experience) + overtime + performance bonus

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Join the Team at Edspace Ltd

Edspace Ltd is a leading UK designer and installer of high-quality timber-framed Edpods, outdoor classrooms, SEND facilities and educational buildings for schools and nurseries. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Timber Frame Installer to join our installation team.

This is a varied, hands-on role working on high-quality projects across the UK. You will be part of a professional three-person team delivering completed buildings to an exceptional standard.

The Role

Working within a small installation team, you will be responsible for constructing and fitting our timber-framed buildings from the ground up, including:

Timber frame construction
Floor, wall and roof installation
PIR insulation and breather membranes
EPDM roofing
External timber cladding
Installation of windows and doors
Internal dry lining and finishing
Laminate flooring and second-fix carpentry
Reading and working from technical drawings
Maintaining a clean, safe and professional site

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in timber frame construction or site carpentry.
Full UK driving licence.
Valid CSCS Card.
Ability to travel and work nationwide, including overnight stays where required.
Professional attitude and excellent customer service skills when working on occupied school and nursery sites.
Ability to work as part of a small, close-knit installation team.
High standards of workmanship with excellent attention to detail.
Punctual, reliable and committed to delivering projects safely and on programme.

DBS Requirement

As the role involves working on school and nursery sites, all successful applicants must hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply. Employment will be conditional upon satisfactory DBS clearance.

Desirable Qualifications

SSSTS or SMSTS.
First Aid at Work.
PASMA and/or IPAF.
Experience installing timber-framed buildings, modular buildings, canopies or educational facilities.
