Caremark Portsmouth & Havant is recruiting a Registered Care Manager to lead quality and compliance of our brand-new office in Portsmouth. Care Manager Job Opportunity

As a new office, we have a rare and exciting Care Manager Job Opportunity that will provide you with real variety. A new office means the chance to do things properly from day one. You will be able to create one where every Care Assistant is well-trained and well-supported. In addition, every care plan is meaningful, and every person we support feels safe, respected, and valued.

As the business grows, so will your role. Consequently, for the right person, this position offers real scope to shape the future direction of the company. You will also be able to develop personally alongside it.

You will be fully supported by the business owner, as well as full backing from the franchisor who has 20 years of successful sector experience. This experienced support team includes, a dedicated Quality Manager, Regional Support Manager, Training & Compliance team, IT & Rostering team and more. All in all, the infrastructure is there. Now we need the right leader to bring it to life.

The Role

As our Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for:

Ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered consistently
Ensuring compliance with CQC, Legislation and Industry Standards
Recruiting, developing and leading a care team that shares your values and commitment to excellence
Delivering training that genuinely prepares your team to provide outstanding care
Building strong relationships with customers, families, local authorities and agencies
Overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the office, ensuring your team has everything they need to do their jobs brilliantly. At the same time, you will be creating a culture where people choose to stay.

About You

You will have previous experience as a Registered Care Manager within a domiciliary care setting, along with an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification. This Care Manager Job Opportunity requires both expertise and a commitment to high standards.

Beyond the credentials however, you will be someone for whom “good enough” simply is not good enough. You’ll bring integrity, honesty, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of the people you support for instance. Furthermore, your excellent organisation, and strong and empathetic leadership, will mean you’ll hold yourself and your team to the highest possible standards.
