Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a lively environment. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous bar experience is a must, a personal license is desirable.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
Ensure the bar area remains clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout the shift
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and promote specials or new drinks to guests
Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Manage multiple tables or customers efficiently during busy periods
Assist with setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of shifts
Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality is a must.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
Knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service best practices is advantageous
