Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Alarm Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of security systems including intruder alarms, CCTV, Access control and fire alarm systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise technical expertise in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safety and security of clients’ premises. The position involves working on-site with a focus on system design, schematics interpretation, and the integration of various security components.

Responsibilities

Install intruder alarm systems, CCTV cameras, access control and fire alarm systems in accordance with client specifications and industry standards.
Conduct system testing and commissioning to ensure optimal operation.
Interpret technical schematics, system design documents, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate installation.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installed systems.
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with clients to assess site requirements and provide expert advice on system configuration.
Document installation procedures, system configurations, and maintenance activities accurately.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all phases of installation work.

Experience

Proven experience in system installation is essential.
Strong knowledge of NSI codes of practice.
Mechanical knowledge related to construction practices will be beneficial.
Experience working with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings is required.
Practical understanding of the use of power tools operation is necessary.
Prior exposure to construction environments or similar roles involving hand tools and power tools will be considered an asset. This role offers a comprehensive opportunity for professional growth within the security technology sector while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in every project undertaken.

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
