Lorry Driver

Location: Lurgan, Co. Armagh
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week, plus overtime opportunities

McCrory Access

McCrory Access is a leading scaffolding contractor providing safe, reliable, and professional scaffolding solutions across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We are looking for a motivated and reliable HGV Driver to join our team based in Lurgan.

Duties

Safely drive HGVs flatbeds to transport scaffolding materials and equipment to and from customer sites throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Assist with the loading and unloading of scaffolding materials as required.
Conduct pre- and post-use vehicle inspections in line with company policies and legal requirements.
Ensure all loads are secured safely and correctly for transport.
Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
Communicate effectively with transport coordinators, yard staff, scaffolders, and customers.
Complete delivery paperwork and relevant documentation accurately and on time.
Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
Represent the company in a professional manner when attending sites and interacting with customers.

What You Will Need

Valid HGV Driver Licence (Category CE or C).
Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
Previous experience operating HGV vehicles.
Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work.
Ability to operate navigation systems and mobile applications.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong commitment to health and safety.
