Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable <PERSON> to join our team as a Delivery Driver. In this dynamic role, you will be the key to ensuring timely and safe deliveries, providing excellent service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Your energetic approach and strong communication skills will help drive our success as you navigate routes efficiently and handle deliveries with care. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with delivery driver experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys engaging with people on the road.

Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including <PERSON> driver vehicles, to deliver goods promptly across designated routes
Load and unload cargo, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
Verify delivery orders, obtain signatures, and complete all necessary documentation accurately
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues
Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle to ensure safety and efficiency during deliveries
Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate pickup schedules and inventory management

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with commercial driving experience
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; specific <PERSON> driver certification is highly desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
Previous warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with logistics operations
Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and route planning techniques
Ability to stay organized under pressure while managing multiple deliveries throughout the day
