Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Courier Van Driver and become a vital link in delivering exceptional service to our customers! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial van to transport packages efficiently and reliably. Your positive attitude, strong communication skills, and dedication will help ensure timely deliveries while providing excellent customer interactions. Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial van to pick up and deliver packages across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines
Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Load and unload packages, often requiring heavy lifting and proper handling to prevent damage
Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure the van remains in optimal condition
Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and receipts for all shipments processed
Provide friendly, professional service to customers during deliveries, addressing questions or concerns with enthusiasm and clarity

Experience

Proven delivery driver experience, preferably if not then also fine
Strong driving skills with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating commercial vehicles
Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics processes is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of loading or unloading packages
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
Knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and navigation tools to optimize delivery routes
