We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced adult social care practitioner to join our teams as a full time Practice Manager for a busy frontline team in central Crewe. You will be managing a busy multi-agency team comprised of social worker, social care assessors, OTs and Lacs.

About the Role:

Manage a delegated budget effectively and appropriately, in accordance with the financial regulations.
Manage operational social care within a specific locality through the effective deployment and management of a mobile professional social care team, ensuring that services and support meets the assessed and priority needs of vulnerable individuals.
Co-ordinate and manage arrangements to resolve situations of high complexity and risk.
Recruit, deploy, manage and develop professional, and as necessary other, staff in accordance with Council policies, managing performance, conduct, attendance and risk.

About you:

You will be an experienced social worker registered with Social Work England.
You will ideally already have management or supervisory experience within adult social care.
Experience of involvement with change and improvement activity, leading to service improvement.
Understanding the legal framework within which Health and Social Care services operate.
