More about your role

The role is FTC until March 2027

As Scheduling Improvement Lead, you'll support the delivery of the Scheduling Improvement Plan by turning agreed priorities into practical actions that can be embedded across day-to-day operations.

You'll work closely with operational leaders, Scheduling Managers and wider teams to deliver improvements across people, process and performance, making sure changes create measurable improvements for Customers, Colleagues and the business.

You'll deliver improvement initiatives, create clear implementation plans, monitor progress and help remove barriers to successful delivery. You'll also review processes, support new ways of working, coordinate activities across different teams, maintain action plans and risks, and promote a culture of continuous improvement across Internal Operations.

You will be required to attend our office in Preston.

Essential criteria

Experience delivering operational improvement initiatives within a service or operational environment.

Evidence of organising and planning work across multiple priorities and competing deadlines.

Experience working with stakeholders to influence, coordinate activity and support delivery of change.

Experience supporting process improvement, new ways of working or service improvement activity.

You'll be someone who enjoys making improvements happen and helping teams turn ideas into clear, practical actions. You'll be organised, confident managing several priorities at once and comfortable working with different teams to keep activity moving.

You'll use performance information to understand what needs to improve, support colleagues through change and help create consistent ways of working that lead to better outcomes.

Experience in social housing, repairs, field services, contact centre operations, scheduling or workforce planning would be helpful, but what matters most is your ability to support operational improvement and help changes land well across teams.
