Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to manage various tasks associated with daily living.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Administer medication according to care plans and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and dignity.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Monitor clients' health and report any changes in condition or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate records of care provided, including medical terminology where applicable.
Implement behaviour management strategies as needed to ensure client safety and comfort.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.

Experience
Candidates should possess relevant experience in caregiving or a related field. Familiarity with first aid procedures is highly desirable, along with knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices. Experience in a care home setting is advantageous but not essential. A genuine passion for helping others and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
