Job Title: Associate Director – Apprenticeships (Regional)

Department: NSG Professional Skills

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Reporting to: Assistant Principal – Apprenticeships

Salary: £47,817 – £56,231 per annum

Annual Leave: 36 days per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays

Contractual Hours: 37 hours per week

Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme

The Role

Are you an ambitious and influential leader with a passion for apprenticeships, employer engagement and business growth? We are seeking an exceptional Associate Director of Apprenticeships to lead and develop our Professional Skills apprenticeship provision, driving performance, quality and commercial success across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and results-driven professional who can inspire high-performing teams, build strong employer partnerships and identify new opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure implementation of internal quality assurance processes to establish best practice and to achieve operational excellence within sectors.
To effectively deliver all contractual and commercial obligations.
Strategically identify and evaluate opportunities for business development.
Develop and implement regional apprenticeship growth strategies.
Build strategic employer partnerships.
Identify new business opportunities.
Drive income generation.
Monitor financial performance.
Lead contract performance against KPIs.

Qualifications

GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Leadership and Management qualification – Desirable.
Assessor/IQA qualification.
Teaching qualification.
Sector specific occupational experience, (Health & Finance).
