Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrator to join our family run garage. We repair and maintain vehicles to a high standard . In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a warm, professional, and efficient experience. You will manage front desk operations, handle administrative tasks, and support daily office functions to keep our organization running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant workplace environment while developing your administrative skills.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to
Answer incoming phone calls, direct inquiries appropriately, and take detailed messages when necessary
Manage the reception area by maintaining a tidy and organized workspace
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, vehicle parts, packages, and deliveries efficiently
Support administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and preparing documents
Assist with data entry, filing systems, and record keeping to ensure accuracy and accessibility

Requirements

Proven office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and professionalism
Previous administrative experience is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar office software
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately
Reliable punctuality and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving
