Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pub. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring stock is always available , and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. The successful applicant will play a vital role in creating a vibrant atmosphere while ensuring operational efficiency and high-quality service.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff, including bartenders.
Working behind the bar
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper food safety and hygiene practices are followed.
Monitor customer service to ensure guests receive prompt and courteous attention.
Organise staff rotas, training sessions, and team meetings to foster a motivated and efficient workforce.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations across all operations.
Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally to uphold the establishment’s reputation.
Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times.
Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives and promotional events to attract new patrons.

Requirements

Proven experience in supervising teams within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Previous experience in managing bars or restaurants, ideally with hotel or hospitality experience.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage team dynamics effectively.
Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Experience in serving customers in a hospitality environment is desirable.
Strong communication skills with a professional attitude towards guest service. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual committed to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences while leading a dedicated team in a vibrant setting.
