The Role

We are seeking a confident, experienced and motivated Commissioning & Business Development Senior Officer to support business growth across Triangle Care and UMS Group. This role is ideal for someone who excels in relationship‑building, enjoys generating new business opportunities, and can represent supported living services with professionalism and credibility.

The roles combines business development, commissioning, refereals and placement coordination and ensure that individuals referred by local authorities are matched with suitable services while supporting the organisation occupancy, growth and commercial objectives

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain professional relationships with local authorities, social worker and other refereal agencies.
Monitor local authorities frameworks, commissioning arragements, tenders and opportunities for new business.
Identify opportunities to increase referrals, occupancy and business growth
Promote organisation's care services to commissioners and other professional stakeholders.
Identify gaps in the local care market and potential opportunities for care/ service development
Build strong relationship with existing commissioners to encourage repeat referral and long-term partnerships.
Support negotiation around placement fees, contract and service arrangements
Introduce and explain supported living pathways and service models clearly and persuasively.
Convert interest into booked appointments for senior management.
Maintain and nurture leads through consistent follow‑up and engagement.
Provide insight on market trends, commissioning priorities, and local authority needs.
Manage a structured lead pipeline and accurately log all interactions.
Support the creation of marketing materials and promotional content.
Represent Triangle Care Group and UMS Group professionally at all times.
Ensure all communication and data handling complies with GDPR and safeguarding requirements.
Essential Experience
Experience in lead generation, appointment setting, or business development.
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
Confidence engaging with Local Authorities, NHS teams, or social care professionals.
Ability to manage and progress a structured pipeline of leadsDesirable Experience
Background in supported living or adult social care.
Knowledge of CQC frameworks and local authority referral systems.
Experience attending provider forums or sector networking events
