Full job description

Painter & Decorator

Kent Build Ltd are looking for a reliable and experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team and work on a range of commercial and residential projects.

Main duties:

Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding and priming.
Apply paint, undercoat and finishing coats to a high standard.
Paint walls, ceilings, doors, frames, skirting and other surfaces.
Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works.
Protect floors, fixtures and completed works.
Maintain a clean and safe working area.
Complete work within agreed timescales and to a high standard.
Carry out snagging and final touch-ups when required.

Requirements:

Previous painting and decorating experience.
Good attention to detail and quality of finish.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
Good knowledge of painting materials and preparation techniques.
Ability to work as part of a team.
CSCS card desirable for construction-site work.
Own tools and transport desirable.

Hours: Full-time
Location: Kent and surrounding areas
Start: Immediate / available to start as soon as possible

Salary: Dependent on experience.

Pay: £200.00 per day

Work Location: In person
