Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team.

.As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. If you have a passion for food preparation and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

-Washing Up
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as needed
