Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles your mechanical expertise will help keep our customers vehicles running smoothly, supporting our commitment to reliable service and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and techniques in a fast-paced environment where your skills truly make a difference.

Duties

Interpret technical schematics and mechanical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues with vehicles and machinery
Perform comprehensive maintenance, repairs, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components
Utilize hand tools, power tools, to complete repairs efficiently and safely
Conduct equipment inspections and report defects to the branch manager
Assist with heavy lifting tasks and ensure proper handling of heavy parts or equipment to maintain safety standards
Maintain detailed records of all service activities, repairs performed, and parts used for each vehicle or piece of equipment
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic or in a similar role with strong mechanical knowledge
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, and diagrams accurately
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and equipment repair standards
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers
