Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Handyman/Woman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various facilities and equipment across our operations. Your expertise will ensure that our environment remains safe, functional, and welcoming for all staff and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mechanical, electrical, and technical skills while providing exceptional service and leadership within a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building infrastructure, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Conduct welding tasks as needed to repair or fabricate metal components, ensuring safety standards are met.
Assist with electrical work, including wiring, installing fixtures, and maintaining programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation systems.
Apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose problems, replace parts, and improve system performance.
Supervise maintenance activities, coordinate with team members, and oversee contractors when necessary.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally.
Lead small teams or projects when required, demonstrating strong leadership skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Experience

Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman roles with a strong background in mechanical and electrical work.
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems is highly desirable.
Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to fabricate or repair metal structures confidently.
Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to building systems or machinery maintenance.
Experience supervising or leading teams within maintenance or facilities management is preferred.
Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration and customer interactions.
Prior experience in customer service environments is a plus, emphasizing a positive attitude and problem-solving approach.
