Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our growing team within a staffing and care supply service. In this role, you will be deployed across a range of care settings, supporting care homes and services to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is adaptable, reliable, and passionate about maintaining high standards of care while representing our organisation professionally in different environments, with the added flexibility to choose shifts that fit around your availability.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care across a variety of care settings, ensuring dignity, respect, and independence at all times
Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, nutrition, and mobility, according to their specific needs
Take a lead role on shift when required, supporting and guiding care staff within the service you are assigned to
Follow and implement individual care plans, ensuring consistency and quality in care delivery
Monitor and report any changes in health or wellbeing to the relevant staff or healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with each service’s policies and procedures
Adapt quickly to different environments, teams, and service user needs
Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and best practice standards at all times
Represent our organisation in a professional and positive manner while on assignment

Requirements

Previous experience in a senior care role or a supervisory position within a care setting
Flexibility to work across different locations and care environments
Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and guide others
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident using IT systems for care documentation and reporting
A good understanding of care plans and person-centred care delivery
A compassionate, professional, and reliable approach
A valid driving licence and access to transport is highly desirable due to travel between placements
