Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing exceptional service to our customers in a lively and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers a great opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while working in a vibrant setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with company standards.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving.
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
Engage with customers professionally to create a friendly atmosphere.
Follow all health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, serving, or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for providing outstanding customer service.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
A responsible attitude towards alcohol service and customer safety.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
