Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part Time Night Porter to join our hospitality team. This vital role ensures the safety, security, and smooth operation of our property during overnight hours. As a Night Porter, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving late or during the night, providing exceptional guest services while maintaining a secure environment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist guests arriving during night hours, ensuring a friendly and professional demeanour.
Conduct regular security patrols of the premises to maintain safety and security standards.
Monitor CCTV systems and perform visual inspections to identify any irregularities or potential issues.
Manage incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, directing inquiries appropriately.
Handle guest requests efficiently, providing information about hotel services and local amenities.
Maintain security logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.
Perform nightly cleaning tasks in public areas
Collaborate with other team members to ensure the property remains secure and well-maintained throughout the night.
Any other tasks requested by senior management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest service abilities.
Ability to remain alert, vigilant, and proactive during overnight shifts.
Knowledge of basic security procedures, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response protocols is advantageous.
Hospitality experience or familiarity with guest services enhances your suitability for this role.
