Are you a reliable, hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment? Dovecote Independent School is looking for a Cleaning Operative to join our friendly and dedicated support team.

About Us

Dovecote Independent School is a small, nurturing independent school based in rural Somerset. We are proud of the warm and supportive environment we provide for our pupils, and we believe that every member of our team plays a vital role in making our school a great place to be.

The Role

Working as part of our cleaning team and reporting to the Estates Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our school sites. This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, initiative and a commitment to doing the job well.

What We're Looking For

A reliable and conscientious individual with a positive attitude
Someone who takes pride in their work and maintains high standards
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
An understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices
A commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children

Previous experience in a cleaning role is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided.
