Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Car Sales Executive to join our busy showroom team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming customers, understanding their vehicle requirements, demonstrating our range of vehicles, and guiding customers through the sales process from initial enquiry to vehicle handover. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident salesperson with a passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom, providing a professional and friendly experience.
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable new and used vehicles.
Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives, highlighting key features and benefits.
Prepare quotations, finance options, and part-exchange valuations where applicable.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Follow up sales enquiries promptly through telephone, email, and digital channels.
Negotiate sales agreements and successfully close vehicle sales while achieving monthly targets.
Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle models, specifications, pricing, promotions, and manufacturer incentives.
Work closely with the finance, service, and administration teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
Keep the showroom and display vehicles clean, presentable, and welcoming at all times.
Maintain accurate customer records using the dealership's CRM system.

Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience in automotive sales or a customer-facing sales role is preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Passion for cars and the automotive industry.
A customer-focused approach with the ability to build rapport and trust.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Competent in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other dealership software.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
