Cotswold Energy Group is an exciting, profitable company within a large growth sector supplying decarbonisation solutions to the domestic and commercial markets.

The company was founded by three childhood friends with the ethos of providing straightforward, transparent solutions to help customers harness the benefits of renewable technologies. We design and install renewable energy technologies, including ASHP, GSHP, WSHP and Solar PV, along with all associated building services.

We work with both Public and Private Sector clients, and our projects range from domestic residences through to commercial buildings, leisure centres, and education facilities.

We're a fast-growing renewable energy company on a mission to accelerate the UK's transition to clean, affordable power. As we scale up our operations, we're looking for a proactive and organised Operations Coordinator to be the engine room of our day-to-day delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in one of the most important and dynamic sectors of the modern economy. You'll work closely with our installations, customer, and compliance teams — gaining broad experience from your first day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Serve as a first point of contact for customers — handling inbound enquiries via phone and email with care and professionalism
Manage and track applications for government-funded schemes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time
Coordinate installation scheduling between customers, engineers, and suppliers — keeping all parties informed and timelines on track
Maintain and update CRM system with current job status, notes, and documents
Prepare, process, and file compliance paperwork in line with MCS, Ofgem, and funder requirements
Liaise with local authorities, housing associations, and third-party organisations as required for funded project eligibility and sign-off
Support the wider team with general administrative tasks, reporting, and project coordination as the business grows
Flag issues or delays proactively and help develop solutions — we value people who take ownership

Requirements

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Confident communicator — written and verbal

Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines

Experience in admin, customer service, or coordination (any sector welcome)

Proficient with Microsoft Office

A can-do attitude and genuine interest in sustainability

NICE TO HAVE

Familiarity with funded energy schemes (ECO4, BUS, etc.)

Experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)

Knowledge of MCS or Ofgem compliance processes

Prior experience in a fast-paced, growing SME
