Culligan UK Limited is currently looking for a skilled FM Account Manager to join our Facilities Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts within the Facilities Management sector, ensuring delivery of exceptional service and achievement of sales targets.
You will act as the primary liaison between Culligan and our FM clients, understanding their unique requirements and tailoring solutions to meet their water filtration and hydration needs. Your role will involve maintaining strong client relationships, managing contract negotiations, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of driving account growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities & ExperienceStrategic Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong multi-level relationships across Facilities Management customers, engaging stakeholders from procurement and operational teams through to Director, Executive, and Board level.
- Position Culligan as a trusted strategic partner by understanding customer objectives, identifying challenges, and delivering value-led solutions.
- Work closely with Key Account Executives (KAEs) and Key Account Managers (KAMs) across all verticals to maximise the value of framework agreements and unlock growth opportunities.
Account Growth & Business Development

Demonstrable track record of driving organic growth, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding existing client relationships.
- Create and execute strategic account plans that deliver sustainable revenue growth, customer retention, and increased market share.
- Support and influence the successful conversion of high-value opportunities through strong stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen, and solution-based selling.
- Actively identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell Culligan's products and services across strategic accounts.
Commercial Performance & Profitability

Take ownership of account profitability by analysing customer performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing initiatives that drive revenue and margin growth.
- Assess pricing strategies, service delivery models, and customer requirements to ensure commercial objectives are achieved while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Proven ability to balance customer needs with commercial outcomes and business objectives.
Strategic Planning, Forecasting & Governance

Maintain accurate pipeline management and 90-day rolling forecasts, ensuring strong visibility of opportunities and revenue performance.
- Lead and contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) in collaboration with the National FM Manager, providing strategic account insights, growth plans, and performance updates.
- Utilise CRM systems effectively to manage opportunities, account plans, forecasting, and customer engagement activity.
Executive Stakeholder Management

Build credibility and influence with senior decision-makers, including Director, Executive, and C-Suite stakeholders.
- Lead strategic business reviews, executive presentations, and customer planning sessions.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Marketing to support vertical-specific campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.
- Work closely with Operations to ensure service excellence, SLA achievement, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Finance to support pricing strategies, commercial reviews, and profitability objectives.
- Align internal stakeholders around customer priorities to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Customer Insight & Innovation

Act as the voice of the customer, identifying market trends, emerging opportunities, and customer challenges.
- Partner with Product and Innovation teams to develop pilot programmes, new service offerings, and differentiated solutions that strengthen Culligan's position within the FM sector.
- Bring market intelligence and strategic thinking to support long-term growth initiatives.
Risk Management & Retention

Proactively identify risks to revenue, customer retention, and account performance.
- Develop and implement remediation and retention plans for at-risk accounts.
- Uphold Culligan's safety, sustainability, and compliance standards while ensuring long-term customer success.
Requirements

Proven experience in strategic account management, business development, or commercial leadership within Facilities Management, Water Treatment, Business Services, or a related sector.
- Strong track record of delivering account growth, customer retention, and revenue generation.
- Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and building relationships at all levels, including senior executives and board-level contacts.
- Commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities, influence decision-makers, and deliver value-based solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive commercial decisions and improve account performance.
- Self-motivated, highly organised, and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in CRM systems, account planning, forecasting, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
