About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential to the smooth running of our practice, ensuring patients receive a warm welcome and efficient service. If you’re organised, tech-savvy, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients with professionalism and compassion, supporting check-in and registration.
Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and cancellations using EMIS Web.
Answer phone calls and respond to patient queries with clarity and care.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Process patient and insurance information with attention to detail.
Work closely with clinical staff to support patient flow and coordination.
Assist with billing queries and payment procedures.
Keep the reception area clean, organised, and welcoming.

What We’re Looking For

Previous office experience, ideally in a healthcare setting.
Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Confident using IT systems, especially EMIS Web (training can be provided).
Quick to learn new software and processes.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
