Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for maintaining clean and hygienic environments in commercial settings. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall cleanliness and presentation of our premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for clients and staff alike. Flexibility in working hours and a strong work ethic are essential qualities for this position. Applicants must be available for early morning shifts approx 9.30 starts and be able to work Saturday and Sunday mornings

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial premises, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Clean and restock restrooms, ensuring hygiene standards are met at all times
Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain waste collection areas
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills and attention to detail are required to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
Reliable, punctual, and able to adhere to scheduled shifts
