Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Nursery Practitioner Level 3+ to join our vibrant childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children, supporting their development in a safe and nurturing environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering positive learning experiences. The practitioner will work closely with colleagues, children, and families to promote a stimulating and inclusive atmosphere that encourages growth, curiosity, and well-being.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that support children's developmental needs in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and individual needs of children are prioritised at all times.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues to inform planning.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging independence, confidence, and social skills.
Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and play.
Support children's emotional development through nurturing interactions and effective communication.
Collaborate with team members to plan activities that promote holistic development across all areas of learning.
Uphold all policies related to safeguarding, health & safety, behaviour management, and confidentiality.
Contribute to the organisation of nursery routines including mealtimes, nap times, and transitions throughout the day.

Requirements

Level 3+ qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education recognised within the UK.
Proven experience working within a nursery or childcare setting.
Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff and support team cohesion.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages and backgrounds.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, health & safety regulations, and early years curriculum standards.
Ability to organise tasks efficiently whilst maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment.
Driving licence is desirable for roles requiring travel between settings or community engagement activities. This position is ideal for passionate childcare professionals eager to make a positive impact on young children's lives while developing their own skills within a supportive team environment.

Pay: £24,420.00-£36,389.88 per year
