WATER HYGIENE TECHNICIAN

Urban Environments Ltd is a rapidly growing Water Hygiene Consultancy and due to their success has several exciting opportunities to join the team in the following areas:

Sussex, Surrey, Waverley, Brighton, Southampton & Surrounding Areas including London.

The Water Hygiene Technician will be required visit various properties/buildings to monitor hot and cold water systems therefore a clean FULL UK Driving Licence is essential. Work will be scheduled across a range of properties including social and sheltered housing, hospitals, care homes and public buildings. A knowledge of water hygiene is preferable although full training will be given to the right candidate.

DUTIES INCLUDE

Temperature taking and monitoring of hot and cold-water systems
Microbiological samples for analysis
Cold water tank inspections / surveys
Carrying our Water Hygiene Risk Assessments
Full training will be provided

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Previous water hygiene experience advantageous but not essential as full training given
Experience in conducting microbiological sampling preferred
Excellent communication skills
Conduct yourself in a professional manner
Able to work to own initiative as well as in a team

REQUIREMENTS

FULL UK Driving licence
To undergo Enhanced DBS check as part of Company’s terms of employment

Position: Full-time, Permanent (Mon-Fri)

Company Package includes: Company Vehicle (Van), Company Pension Scheme

20 Days Holiday per annum + Bank Holidays + Birthday Holiday after 6 month Probation.

Salary will be based on relevant experience
