Full job description

We’re seeking a friendly and dependable Shop/Café Assistant to join our busy retail bakery team and help create a welcoming experience for every customer.

Hours: Full Time 30 hours over 5 days (This is a permanent job)

Time: Shifts between 6.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am - 4.30pm Sunday

This is a bit more details on what we see you doing in this role:

To serve customers who use the shop/café
Take product orders from customers, process orders and payment
Set up the counter/café/fridges/window displays etc
Carry out cleaning tasks throughout the day where required
Set up the shop in an aesthetically pleasing manor
Ensuring that tools, utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitised
Complete daily temperature checks and other internal paper work as required.

Enjoys working as a team
Has excellent communication skills with a great emphasis on verbal and listening skills
Reliable and likes to make sure that each task is completed to the highest standard consistently and in a timely manor
Ideally we would like some experience in serving food/retail

Pay: £13.45 per hour
