Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis or through job sharing arrangements. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations within our office environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and office experience to contribute to a dynamic workplace.

Duties

Welcome visitors promptly and courteously, ensuring they are directed appropriately
Answer and manage incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette
Handle general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining appointment schedules
Utilise Microsoft Office programmes, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks for various administrative functions
Manage correspondence via email and postal mail efficiently
Maintain organised records and ensure the office environment remains tidy and professional
Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and supporting other administrative staff as required
Perform light clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, and document management

Skills

Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
Excellent typing speed and data entry accuracy
Strong communication skills with good phone etiquette
Previous clerical or administrative experience is preferred
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Organised with keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
