Full job description

We are seeking friendly and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Waiters/Waitresses. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Whether you're greeting guests with a smile, recommending menu items, or promptly attending to their needs, you'll contribute to creating memorable moments for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Present menus and provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and dietary restrictions.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff and ensure timely delivery of meals and drinks to guests.
Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests.
Anticipate guests' needs and provide attentive service to enhance their dining experience.
Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and processing credit card transactions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing tables, resetting utensils, and cleaning spills.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations and uphold quality standards.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in a waiter/waitress or food service role, is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
Knowledge of food and beverage menus and the ability to make recommendations to guests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
