Full job description

Overview
Pamphylia Gardening is a growing gardening company providing high-quality garden maintenance services for residential and commercial clients across central Edinburgh. We are looking for a gardener to join our team and help us maintain high standards of service.

What We’re Looking For:

At least 1 year of gardening experience
Ability to safely operate power and hand tools, including strimmers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers
Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Flexible approach to working hours depending on workload and weather conditions
Van driving experience is preferred but not essential

Key Responsibilities:

Lawn mowing and strimming
Weeding and general garden maintenance
Hedge trimming and pruning
Planting shrubs and seasonal bedding plants
Garden tidy-ups and waste removal

Hours & Flexibility:

Typical working hours are Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. However, start and finish times may vary depending on weather conditions, workload, and seasonal demand.

Pay & Contract Type:

Part-time fixed-term seasonal role from August to November
Additional hours available depending on workload and seasonal demand
Competitive hourly rate up to £15 per hour, depending on experience and performance
Potential for extension or future seasonal work for the right candidate, subject to business needs.
