Join Our Growing Property Team

We are seeking an organised, proactive and customer-focused Lettings Manager to join our friendly and professional team in Peterborough.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced lettings professional to play a key role in the day-to-day management of our growing lettings portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with landlords, tenants, contractors and colleagues to ensure our properties are managed efficiently, compliantly and to the highest possible standard.

The role combines property management, lettings administration, compliance management and customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As Lettings Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of our lettings department, including:

Managing property viewings and carrying out lettings valuations.
Marketing properties and creating new listings on our CRM system.
Liaising with landlords, tenants and prospective applicants.
Matching suitable applicants to available properties and presenting applications to landlords.
Managing tenant applications, referencing and onboarding processes.
Processing tenancy agreements, renewals and associated administration.
Organising and monitoring compliance requirements, including Gas Safety Certificates, EICRs and Legionella Risk Assessments.
Maintaining accurate property, tenant and landlord records.
Arranging inventories, move-ins and tenancy-related documentation.
Coordinating contractors and monitoring outstanding works.
Processing invoices and ensuring landlord reporting is completed accurately.
Proactively monitor rent arrears and take timely action to recover outstanding payments.
Managing tenancy deposit administration and supporting TDS reconciliations.
Monitoring diary reminders and ensuring key compliance deadlines are met.
Assisting with general property management and office administration tasks.
Providing a professional and responsive service to landlords and tenants.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience within a lettings or property management environment.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks.
A professional and confident telephone manner.
Good IT skills and experience using property management systems.
A positive, proactive and solution-focused approach.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
