Job Summary

Events & Marketing Manager

Location: Snugburys Ice Cream

Hours: 4 days per week, including some weekends when events are running

Salary:£40,000 full-time equivalent, pro rata for 4 days

About the role: We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and creative Events & Marketing Manager to join our small, friendly team at Snugburys.

This is a varied and exciting role for someone who loves events, social media, marketing and coming up with brilliant ideas. You’ll play a key part in bringing our events and marketing activity to life, working closely with the directors and the wider team.

What you’ll be doing

Planning, organising and delivering events from start to finish including organising and attending trade shows
Managing our social media channels across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant platforms
Assist creating fun, engaging and innovative content
Developing new marketing ideas and campaigns
Helping to grow our audience, footfall and brand awareness
Working alongside the directors to develop and deliver marketing and events strategy
Coordinating suppliers, contractors and event requirements
Creating structured plans, schedules and timelines for events
supporting photography, video and content creation
Keeping on top of multiple projects and deadlines
Looking for new and exciting ways to make Snugburys stand out

We’re looking for someone who is:

Highly organised and structured with excellent attention to detail
Naturally creative and full of ideas
Confident using social media and understands what makes content perform
Experienced in planning and running events
Proactive, enthusiastic and happy to get stuck in
Able to manage several projects at once
A confident communicator who enjoys working with people
Comfortable working closely with directors and taking ownership of projects
Commercially minded, while still being creative and playful
Flexible and happy to work weekends when events are taking place
