Full job description

Overview
Globestock Safety design, manufacture, and supply a wide range of high-quality safety solutions for use in confined space access, fall arrest and load arrest applications.

We are seeking a Sales Support Apprentice to join our busy sales team. The team you’ll be joining is friendly, relaxed and has a reputation for providing excellent customer service.

This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking to enroll, or already enrolled on a relevant Level 2 apprenenticeship (eg. Customer Services).

Responsibilities

Answering and directing calls from customers, suppliers and other external contacts.
Monitoring and processing enquiries, quotes, and orders from existing and prospective customers.
Co-ordinating collection of goods from suppliers, and delivery to customers nationally and internationally.
Responding to customer queries professionally and promptly.
Capturing and recording all customer interactions within the Globestock Safety CRM system.
Liaising with production to obtain lead times for quotes and orders, when required.
Updating customers on order progress and effectively communicating any issues that may arise.
Any other administrative tasks as and when required.

Skills

A confident and effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Comfortable making and receiving telephone calls to communicate clearly with customers.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
A team player who is also able to work independently.
IT literate (e.g. Microsoft Office), and an ability to learn new IT systems.
Focused on building positive relationships with new and existing customers by providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications / Experience

GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 4 or C and above) essential.
Any experience in a customer facing role would be advantageous, but not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £16,640.00-£26,500.00 per year
