Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Forklift Driver/Labourer to join our night shift team. This vital role combines skilled forklift operation with general labour duties to ensure smooth warehouse operations. You will be responsible for handling materials efficiently, maintaining safety standards, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in your mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, this is the perfect opportunity to contribute to a dynamic logistics operation.

Duties

Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying inbound and outbound shipments
Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately
Perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance checks on forklifts and other tools
Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and organization
Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to ergonomic practices
Support warehouse operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols

Qualifications

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment
Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory control
Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
Ability to perform basic math calculations related to weights, measurements, and inventory counts
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual labour tasks
Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred
