Full job description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team at our privately owned 25-bedroom country house hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to hotel standards
Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock guest amenities
Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust as required
Report any maintenance issues or lost property promptly
Follow all health and safety procedures
Maintain cleaning equipment and materials in good condition
Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Respond to guest requests politely and promptly

Requirements:

CANDIDATE MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.
Experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
Good time management and ability to work under minimal supervision.
Physical stamina – role involves bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Friendly and professional attitude.
