Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within our busy café environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee and food service, organised, and eager to contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods as required.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all aspects of food handling and preparation.
Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders accurately and handling payments using the POS system.
Keep the café clean and organised, including clearing tables, cleaning equipment, and restocking supplies throughout shifts.
Support team members during busy periods by assisting with various operational duties as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills

Previous barista experience is essential
Knowledge of food safety standards to ensure hygienic practices are maintained.
Experience in serving customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
Basic food preparation skills to assist with light kitchen tasks.
Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
Ability to perform basic maths accurately for cash handling and order processing.
Strong organisational skills to keep work areas tidy and supplies well-stocked. This role offers an engaging environment where you can develop your hospitality skills while contributing to a positive customer experience. We welcome enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and grow within our team.

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
