Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team! In this role, you will be the go-to expert for delivering exceptional hair styling services while providing outstanding customer care. Your leadership skills will shine as you mentor junior stylists, manage client consultations, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere that keeps clients coming back. You will play a key role in driving salon success through your technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and proactive approach to upselling and service enhancement.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and special occasion styles with precision and creativity
Provide expert barbering services when required, ensuring high standards of grooming and style
Offer personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable services and products
Deliver additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction
Maintain a clean, organized workspace that adheres to health and safety standards at all times
Mentor and support junior stylists by sharing techniques, offering constructive feedback, and fostering professional growth
Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and upselling retail products to maximize revenue
Cultivate strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, active communication, and personalized attention

Experience

Proven experience as a senior stylist or lead stylist in a busy salon environment with a strong portfolio of work
Demonstrated expertise in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and barbering techniques
Experience with eyelash extensions and makeup application is highly desirable
Strong store management skills including appointment booking systems, inventory oversight, and team coordination
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect confidently with diverse clients and team members
Prior mentoring or training experience to support the development of junior staff members
Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction
