Overview
4 DAY WEEK!!!! 3 days off every week, up to 48k total package. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience, working with open fire/BBQ cooking but this is not essential. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, open kitchen, open fire cooking, delivering high-quality meals to our valued customers. multi award winning pub with a great working environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook grilled dishes according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station and surrounding areas
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Follow food safety protocols at all times to ensure hygiene and safety compliance
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
Adhere to health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, with strengths in cooking fish and meat
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, particularly grilling/BBQ methods
Excellent understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members
Prior experience serving or interacting with customers is advantageous but not essential

Pay: Up to £42,000.00 per year
