Since 2006, Good Eco Group has been a UK leader in LED lighting and renewable energy and building solutions. Our award-winning Goodlight brand and Net Zero portfolio helps organisations reduce carbon footprints and energy costs.

We work with leading organisations, including Holland & Barrett, Superdrug, Sainsbury’s, Transport for London, British Airways, and various public sector bodies - The DfE, NHS and local authorities. Our solutions also extensively serve industrial and commercial customers, helping them transition to sustainable energy.

The Role

We are looking for a proactive and engaging Business Development professional to join our growing sales team. This is a Sales Development role focused on generating new projects.

As a key part of the business development process, you will be responsible for outreach and lead qualification, sales presentations, site surveys (for design development) and quotations.

Key Responsibilities

Engage potential customers via telephone, email, and socials to introduce Good Eco Group’s solutions.
Generate interest in our solar pv & battery solutions and renewable energy offerings and identify warm leads.
Book in site surveys to progress opportunities with decision-makers in sectors such as industrial, commercial, healthcare, education, retail, and local authorities.
Maintain an up-to-date CRM system, accurately logging all conversations, follow-ups, and sales opportunities.
Work closely with the marketing team to support outreach campaigns and targeted lead-generation initiatives.
Meet and exceed sales targets
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and Good Eco Group’s expanding range of energy-saving solutions.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous telesales, inside sales, or sales development experience (B2B preferred, ideally within solar pv - energy, sustainability and/or net zero solutions.
Confident, resilient, and target-driven with a passion for engaging new customers.
Strong communication and persuasion skills – able to generate interest, build rapport, and handle objections.
Manage sales activity (calls, emails, surveys, proposals and quotes).
Experience in using a CRM system to track and manage leads.
Ability to work independently while being a team player in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in sustainability, energy efficiency, and renewable technologies is an advantage.
