Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated MSK (Musculoskeletal) Podiatrist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The successful candidate will specialise in diagnosing and treating foot and lower limb conditions, providing expert care to improve patient mobility and quality of life. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional committed to delivering high standards of podiatric care within a supportive environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about advancing their expertise in musculoskeletal podiatry.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with foot, ankle, and lower limb complaints.
Develop personalised treatment plans based on clinical findings, including manual therapy, orthotic prescription, and rehabilitation programmes.
Provide expert advice on footwear, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications to optimise patient outcomes.
Perform minor procedures such as wound management, nail surgery, and injections where appropriate.
Collaborate with physiotherapists, orthopaedic specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with professional standards and organisational policies.
Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of advancements in musculoskeletal podiatry.

Qualifications

Qualified Podiatrist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Proven experience in MSK podiatry or a related specialised field is desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to diverse patient groups.
Fluency in English is essential for effective consultation and documentation.
Competent IT skills for managing electronic health records and clinical documentation.
Experience or interest in teaching or mentoring junior staff or students is advantageous.
