Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking 2 compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidates will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, maintaining care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for all residents.

* Please note, at present we do not offer sponsorship *

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support residents in daily activities including meal preparation and feeding.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans for each resident.
Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain a clean and safe environment within the care home.
Document any changes in residents' conditions or behaviours promptly.
Utilise IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience when dealing with vulnerable individuals.
Basic IT skills for documentation and record management.
