Job Summary
Red dog saloon was set up to bring the only authentic American Barbeque to the UK, as well as U.S craft beers, classic American cocktails. All with a soundtrack of blues and soul from the deep south. Our team is full of character and personality, we are passionate, caring and proud of who are and what we do. If you are motivated, friendly and energetic then Red Dog Saloon is the place where you’ll thrive.

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to support our management team in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to effectively manage a team while driving sales and maintaining store standards. The position will be a temporary position covering maternity leave.

Duties

Assist in the management of store operations
Supervise staff, providing training and development to enhance performance and ensure adherence to company policies.
Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and compliance with financial policies.
Utilize POS systems for efficient transaction processing and inventory management.
Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management.

Skills

Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with strong leadership capabilities.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong leadership skills that will help to foster a positive and productive work environment
Exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing, including phone etiquette.
Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Conflict handling abilities
