Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our team at Branca Restaurant in Jericho, Oxford.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas, ensuring all dishes meet our standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards
Cook pizzas to perfection using appropriate methods and equipment
Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety and hygiene regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts
Assist in the preparation of other menu items as required
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Serve prepared dishes efficiently and courteously to customers when required
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Experience with meal preparation and culinary techniques specific to pizza making is desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Previous restaurant experience, particularly in a fast-paced setting, is advantageous

Pay: £12.50-£16.00 per hour
