Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Manager to assist the Managing Director in managing daily operations and sales administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, be proficient in various office software, CRM and have experience in clerical and administrative roles. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a small dynamic team, ensuring smooth business processes and effective communication within the organisation.

Part-Time or Flexi-Hours - adapted to suit

This role is open to anyone with the qualities, energy, enthusiasm to succeed, be part of a dynamic product and service offering, and anyone who has the skills to achieve the joint objectives of the business. Hours can be adapted & flexible to suit as long as they are sufficient to support the business adequately. The role would equally work for a young parent or semi retired or young parent with children if they can make themselves sufficiently available and focus on their expected duties and objectives.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Admin and business operations located at another site, which may also include scheduling appointments and managing tasks, responsibilities throughout the company.
Marketing, sales support and digital marketing experience essential
Handle /manage/oversee data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and specialised accounting software such as zoho rm and books
Maintain organised records and files, ensuring easy retrieval of information
Manage correspondence via email, phone, and other communication channels with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to proper phone etiquette
Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as required
Support invoicing, billing, and financial record keeping through QuickBooks or similar programmes
Coordinate meetings, organise logistics, and prepare agendas or materials needed for business discussions
Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, filing, and maintaining office supplies
Maintain confidential business and personal support to the MD

Experience

Proven administrative experience in a professional office environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable
Data entry experience with high accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills
Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with high accuracy
Previous office experience demonstrating reliability and efficiency

Pay: £15,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
