Full job description

Role: Technical Learner Progress Manager

Join our team as a Technical Learner Progress Manager, where you'll play a key role in empowering individuals to become job-ready and succeed in their careers. You'll have the chance to shape their journey by delivering engaging and impactful employability sessions focused on essential topics such as communicating transferable skills, CV writing, interview practice, and job searching. This role would suit someone who is interested in progressing to become a Tutor and has a technical background or aptitude for Technical subjects such as Electrical.

What You'll Do:

Assist the Tutor with course delivery
Set up exams and assessments
Provide personalized feedback on CVs, helping learners refine their professional profiles.
Schedule and organize mock interviews with volunteers and staff, offering invaluable practice for real-world interview scenarios.
Offer tailored, one-on-one support to each learner, ensuring they are fully prepared to secure employment by the end of the program.
Proactively engage with learners who may miss sessions, ensuring they remain connected and on track.
Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings to monitor individual progress, assess drop-out risk, and provide essential personal or pastoral support to help learners overcome challenges.
Collaborate closely with our Inclusion Manager and Safeguarding Lead to ensure learners with more significant support needs receive the appropriate care.
Support learners in developing functional skills such as English, workplace communication, and technology proficiency to enhance their abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Be the primary point of contact for your cohort, ensuring learners feel supported throughout the program.
Keep systems (e.g., Salesforce, Portal) up to date with accurate attendance and progress records.
Participate in weekly progress meetings with the instructor and Generation representatives to review learner performance and develop individual support plans for success.

Pay: £18.00-£25.00 per hour
